Los Muertos van deprisa
Irene, a lorry driver with a haulage company which transports fish and shellfish, arrives at the small, picturesque coastal town of Fariño do Mar with the idea of purchasing shellfish. Unfortunately her lorry gets stuck on a narrow bridge in the middle of the village blocking the way to the cemetery just on the day when the inhabitants are going to say their final farewell to Cándido Bouzas, an old sailor and the father of Filomeno, the leader of the shellfish collectors’ guild. The event postpones the funeral rites and the coffin with Cándido’s body is taken back to his house where a vigil will be held over his body indefinitely.
