After its premier at Helsinki Film Festival and at the Montreal International Festival of Film on Art, it arrives to Spain this week.
Two male artists are travelling in winter in the famous La Rioja Alavesa wine-growing region of Northern Spain. The men go to see religious paintings showing human hands in churches and monasteries and discuss such topics as Dante's concept of Paradise and the meaning of faith and prayer. The travelers understand something new and fundamental about the meaning of forgiveness and this gives them a chance for a better future.
This film, directed by Rax Rinnekangas and filmed between Helsinki (Finland), La Rioja Alavesa (Spain) and Castilla La Mancha (Spain), is a coproduction between Sonora Estudios and the Finish production company Bad Taste Ltd. After its premier at "Helsinki Film Festival" and at the "Montreal International Festival of Film on Art", it arrives this week to Basque and Cantabrian screens.
