This recording project will be part of the Welish artist Gareth Barker's first album.
After metting at Midem 2012 what SMS (Sonora Music Services) can offer to a recording project, the American producer flyed to Vitoria to record with the Vitoria-Gasteiz Orchestra.
Thaler asked us a formation of 20 musicians with 4 first violins, 4 second violins, 4 violas, 2 cellos, 2 basses, 3 horns and 1 oboe conducted by Maite Aurrekoetxea. The customer needed an acoustic as neutral as possible so we selected Felix Petite Theatre to carry out the recording session.
The final product, which will be the first studio album of the young Welshman Gareth Barker, will be introduced to the music industry next January in Cannes at Midem 2013 and its commercial release is scheduled for next spring.
