THE DOCUMENTARY EXAMINAES THE TRAJECTORY OF THE BASQUE ARTIST JOSE LUIS ZUMETA
The painter Jose Luis Zumeta has just turned 70. Well known for his use of colour and abstract paintings, his work has captured the interest of many generations. He works odd hours deep in the Navarra countryside. An art critic proposes to organize an exposition with his new work. In front of the camera for the 1st time, a unique and intimate process the painter has never exposed before.
This film, wich is a coproduction between Sonora Estudios and Moztu Filmak, has been directed by Monica Zumeta and Enara Goikoetxea. Enara is currently editing the material filmed between 2011 and 2012 in Usurbil, Aralar mountain chain, Artium Museum Vitoria and Atallu among other locations.
